Children In China Dressed Up As Cigarettes For 25th World No Tobacco Day


Yesterday May 31, China Daily posted a photo of children in kindergarten in Huainan, Anhui province in China dressed up as cigarettes to raise awareness of the health effects of smoking tobacco and to commemorate the 25th World No Tobacco Day.

World No Tobacco Day is a yearly observance around the world every May 31. It is meant to encourage the world a 24-hour period of abstinence from all forms of tobacco consumption especially on smoking cigarettes. The World Health Organization created World No Tobacco Day in 1987.
