Here are the updates the upcoming live-action adaptation of popular manga and anime xxxHOLiC created by the all-female manga group CLAMP. The first promotional image of the cast (picture above) has been revealed as well as more information and additional cast members.
Japanese actress, model and singer Yumi Adachi will play the role of Spider Lady (Jorogumo). Though not yet official, Naoto Takenaka will play the role Haruka Doumeki. The actress and model Anne will play the role of Yuko Ichihara, while Shota Sometani will play the character Kimihiro Watanuki.
Before, Jun Tsugita and Keisuke Toyoshima were both listed as directors and scriptwriters. Now, Jun Tsugita is listed as scriptwriter alone and Keisuke Toyoshima as the only director. The show will be having a total of 8 episodes.
The live-action drama series is also revealed to air on February 24, 2013. What are your expectations on the show?
