“My Paparotti” Korean Film Coming Out this Month


Based on the true story of Kim Ho-Joong, who first appeared on Korean TV show Star King on July 2009, “My Paparotti” tells the story of a troubled young man of his journey to becoming a singer. During the program, Kim Ho-Joong surprised people with his vocal abilities and also made people cry because of his background story – Kim Ho-Joong grew up as a thug and joined gangs but began to love singing with the help of her grandmother.

“My Paparotti” is directed by Yoon Jong-Chan (“I Am Happy”, “Blue Swallow”); starring Lee Je-Hoon (“Ghost Sweepers”, “The Front Line”), Han Suk-Kyu (“The Berlin File”, “Villain and Widow”) and Kang So-Ra (“Sunny”, “The Clue”). The film premiers on March 14. Check out the trailer below.
