Good news to Resident Evil fans and PC gamers out there – Capcom just announced yesterday that Resident Evil 4 is finally coming to Windows PC in HD. “Resident Evil 4 Ultimate HD Edition” promises gamers improved graphics, silky smooth gameplay at 60 frames per second and full Steam support.
The first Resident Evil 4 was first released on January 2005 for the Nintendo GameCube which was later ported to other gaming consoles and mobile devices. It was first ported by Sourcenext to Windows PC and was first released in Hong Kong on February 1, 2007.
The new version will be released digitally worldwide and also on disc in Europe on February 28, 2014 for €19.99/$19.99. Check out the announcement trailer below. What are your expectations to the new version of this timeless classic?
